Place apple on stick and roast above fire until the skin starts to peal and the apple turns brown. While still hot, roll in sugar and cinnamon combination. Then continue roasting apple until glaze forms. Eat off glaze and if you wish double dip in sugar and cinnamon mix. Bake until glazed again. Continue until apple is gone.
Very good. My recommendation is cook it evenly once till the skin slacks. then cool it. After cooling skin comes off much easier. Once skin is off cook briefly and add cinnamon sugar and recook until glaze forms.
CAMPING TIP
Bring a film cannister filled with cotton balls dipped in Vaseline, it's a good fire starter when wood is wet and it's safe to carry.
