BANANA BOATS
camping recipe

Category: Desserts   Rating: N/A
Backpacking: Yes Effort: easy Serves: any Prep time: 1-30m

Ingredients:
  • 1 banana per person
  • mini marshmellows
  • chocolate chips

How to Prepare:
Slice open banana down the middle. Stem up laying flat towards you (do not slice in half completely) spread it open; it should look like a canoe. Stuff with marshmellows and chocolate chips. Place on coals allowing marshmellows and chocolate to melt. Then remove from coals. Place on plate to cool and eat warm.

If prefered you may wrap aluminum at bottom part of boat. Do not wrap completely.

The kids love to make and eat this treat.

CAMPING TIP

Never leave food outside your tent or in the tent because you might have some furry friends drop a visit.
