Baked Apple

Backpacking: No Effort: easy Serves: any Prep time: 1-30m
 
Ingredients:
  • apples
  • brown sugar
  • aluminum foil
  • raisins
  • cinnamon
 
How to Prepare:
Core an apple and place it on a square of aluminum foil. Fill the hole in with raisins, brown sugar and a dash of cinnamon. Wrap foil around it and bake for ten minutes on hot coals.

We love this dessert, our family always makes it with a little bit of butter, and we leave out the raisins. It's a mini apple pie without the pastry!
