Place oil and popcorn in the center of an 18" x 18" square of doubled foil. Fold foil corners together to make a pouch and seal the edges; leave room for the popcorn to pop. Tie each pouch to a long branch/stick. Hold the pouch over the hot coals and shake until all the corn has popped. Add butter and salt if desired.
Will try it next week when we go camping. Sounds alot like the Jiffy-Pop we used to get as kids.
CAMPING TIP
Zip - off / convertible pants are great for hiking and camping - especially in times when weather is variable. It's so easy to change from long pants in the cool morning, to shorts when you or the weather gets warm. Zip back on in the cool evening.
