CAMPING TIP

I have found that the best way, that I've found anyways, to cook on a campfire is to make the fire ring in a keyhole shape. You simply build your fire in the big end, and when you have a nice bed of coals, rake some down to the narrow end. If you need more, your fire is still there making you coals and giving you heat and light. Using this way allows the food to be cooked more evenly and keeps you from burning all the hair off your head. It only took once to learn that lesson.
