Campfire Baked Apples

Backpacking: No Effort: easy Serves: any Prep time: 1-30m
 
Ingredients:
  • 1 apple per serving
  • brown sugar
  • raisins, nuts or red hots
  • heavy aluminum foil
 
How to Prepare:
Core upper part of apple leaving bottom half intact. Fill center with your choice of raisins, nuts and red hots. Add brown sugar to taste. Double wrap apple in aluminum foil and place on hot coals for 20 minutes.
